In his research he examines how digital technologies should be used to make sure that the opportunities outweigh the risks. His research is based on a wide variety of disciplines including psychology and communication sciences but also fundamental theories on emotion dynamics and emotion regulation that are critical for a proper understanding of emotional wellbeing.
